• Select Start / Control Panel /

Connections,

• Click the right mouse button on the

appropriate LAN connection and

select Properties.

• In the "Components checked are

used by this connection" field, select

"Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)"

• Click the Properties button.

The screen opposite appears.

• Select the "Obtain an IP address

automatically" option.

• Click the OK button to exit from the

dialog box

If the "Internet protocol (TCP/IP)" component does not appear in the

"Components checked are used by this connection" field, install this protocol as

follows:

• Click the Install button, select Protocol then click the Add button.

• A dialog box appears, select Microsoft in the "Manufacturers" field then

Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) in the "Network protocol:" field.

• Click OK to confirm.
